How your data gets into StockAI and how your decisions get out.

This is the list of what exists today, with no promises: file upload, a connection to your database, a public API, a read-only MCP server, webhooks and WhatsApp. At the end, what does not exist yet, marked as such.

What exists today

Files
CSV and Excel
You export from your system and upload the file as it comes. StockAI recognises which column is the date, which the product and which the quantity sold. There is also bulk import of suppliers and purchase orders from CSV or Excel.
Database
Direct connection to your database
You connect StockAI to your Postgres or MySQL database and pull sales with a query, with no files in between. Credentials are stored encrypted.
API
Public API with keys
Your system can upload sales and stock and take the signal away without anyone opening StockAI. Keys carry a read or write scope, every call is metered, and the documentation includes real examples.
AI assistants
Read-only MCP server
An MCP-compatible AI client can query your inventory with the same API key and the same limit. There are five tools and all of them only read: none writes or approves anything.
Events
Webhooks
StockAI notifies an HTTPS address of yours when a forecast finishes or fails (job.completed and job.failed), so your system can react without polling.
Messaging
WhatsApp and email
The daily summary of products at risk and the orders to suppliers go out by email, and by WhatsApp. With WhatsApp, each person links their number and can ask the assistant how their inventory is doing; the assistant only reads.
Reports
Excel and PDF
Purchase orders export as CSV or PDF, and reports as Excel and PDF, for your system or for whoever works in spreadsheets.

The data StockAI needs

  • Sales history: date, product code and quantity sold as a minimum.
  • Current stock, so the signal has something to compare against.
  • Approximate lead time for each supplier: approximate is enough, it corrects itself.
  • Cost and minimum order, if you want the order to respect them and the idle money to show.

An access point so your suppliers can confirm orders and delivery dates without writing to you. It does not exist yet.
